I Madonnari Chalk Festival 2008 

A large-scale Red Hibiscus, sponsored by SBB, bloomed in brightly colored chalk on Memorial Day weekend at the Old Mission plaza during the I Madonnari street painting festival. Designed by internationally known local artist, Ralph Waterhouse, and implemented by Project Renaissance, under the supervision of Angela Kelly, the official flower of the City of Santa Barbara become a focal point of SBB’s commitment to beautification through collaboration.
