| In a ceremony on the recently inaugurated Henry Bergmann Court, Santa Barbara Beautiful announced a grant of $15,000 for upgrading the 15 East Beach volleyball courts. East Beach is a frequent host to many world-class volleyball competitions and has produced several locals to international fame, including current Olympic champions Todd Rogers and Phil Dalhausser, as well as three-time gold medalist Karch Kiraly. |
Artist Lori Ann David was selected to create a large mosaic that will be a feature of the new airport, a community grant supporting Art in Public Places.
