Citizens and organizations commemorate parents, spouses, grandparents, children, pets, organizations or special events with an attractive marker placed at the foot of a city tree of their choice. Santa Barbara Beautiful has financed the planting of over 12,000 street trees, so there is a multitude of dynamic trees from which to choose. Once the tree is chosen, one’s inscription is placed on a plaque embedded in a sandstone-colored concrete base. The elegant and durable beauty of the plaque assures a lasting tribute.
