The National Arbor Day Foundation Poster Contest is a yearly
contest open to all 5th grade students across the United States.
One winner from each of the 50 states competes on the national level
in April at the National Arbor Day Foundation headquarters in
Nebraska. The National Winner represents that year’s theme.
Santa Barbara Beautiful has been a proud local sponsor of the poster
contest since the year 2000. In cooperation with the City Parks
& Recreation Dept., Santa Barbara Beautiful plants a tree at each
participating elementary school.
